2014 Village Fundraising Campaign!

Dear Hilltown Village Community,

Today we launch our 2nd Annual Fundraiser! We are excited to reach out to all of you and let you know how you can support this grassroots effort to increase support and decrease isolation for rural families. 2013 was a big year!

More than 150 Home Visits provided
More than 30 Mothers supported through our Mothers’ Groups
More than 25 Meals organized through Food Calendars
More than 20 Resource Kits delivered
10 New Volunteers trained
Countless Families received clothes and gear from the Village Closet

We also completed our 1st Annual Fundraiser, participated in the Hilltown Spring Festival, created a brand new website, collaborated with St. John’s Church, The United Way of Hampshire County, the Hilltown Community Health Centers, the Cummington Family Center, the West Cummington Congregational Church, the Village Church in Cummington, MotherWoman, the Green River Doula Network and Ashfield Needles and Threads. It was a great year for making connections with allied organizations, businesses and individuals.

In 2014 we hope to reach more families and volunteers through additional outreach and continue to provide high quality support to rural families through our five components: Home Visits, Mothers’ Groups, The Village Closet, Resource Kits and Food Calendars. Continuation and expansion of all of our programming is dependent on funds raised.

We welcome your donations large and small and we invite each of you to help us spread the word to your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Your can find our fundraising letter here to share with others.

With your support the Hilltown Village can thrive and grow so that families with newborns don’t have do it all alone!

In gratitude,
Anna Westley and Katy Eiseman for the Hilltown Village
